Provided is a skin cleanser composition that comprises the following components (A), (B), and (C): 0.5-40 mass% of an ether oil (A) that is a liquid at 25 °C 0.01-5 mass% of a non-ionic water-soluble polymer (B) that includes cellulose as a constituent unit thereof and that is selected from among methyl cellulose, ethyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, and hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose and water (C). The skin cleanser composition also comprises 1 mass% or less of a non-ionic surfactant.
