PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the connection of a front side rod and a rear side rod by a combination in which a voltage of a battery pack is higher than rated voltages of electric motors when there exist, in a bush cutter which can divide an operation rod frontward and rearward, a plurality of kinds of machines using a plurality of kinds of power sources which are changed in voltages, and a plurality of kinds of the electric motors having the rated voltages which conform to voltages of the plurality of kinds of power sources.SOLUTION: A bush cutter 10 comprises inhibition means in which, in a combination in which a voltage of a power source 42 conforms to a rated voltage of an electric motor 32, an operation rod 11 allows the insertion and the connection of a front side rod 12 to a rear side rod 13 in a position in which a plug 21 of an electric connector 20 is electrically connected to a plug receiver 23, and in a combination in which the voltage of the power source 42 is higher than the rated voltage of the electric motor 32, the operation rod 11 inhibits the insertion and the connection of the front side rod 12 to the rear side rod 13 in a position in which the plug 21 of the electric connector 20 is electrically connected to the plug receiver 23.
