A process for the recovery of extinguishing powders and the relative plant for its implementation are described, together with products obtained thereby, such as fertilizers for agricultural use and catalysts for adhesives for use in the wood industry. In particular, said process is based on the use of exhausted extinguishing powders as starting material, which, when appropriately treated, enable the recovery of compounds suitable for use as fertilizers or as catalysts for adhesives.
