PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope light source unit in which a light source lamp can be safely and easily replaced.
SOLUTION: The endoscope light source unit is provided in which the light source lamp with a reflective shade part surrounding a light source part can be attached and detached to/from the inside of a casing, wherein a flange part of a diameter larger than the reflective shade part is arranged on the distal end of the reflective shade part of the light source lamp, a lid member for opening and closing a window part for inserting and removing the light source lamp formed on the casing is equipped, and the lid member has a flange engaging part with/from which the flange part of the light source lamp can be engaged and disengaged.
