PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure and reduce the cost of a device for detecting passage of granules to be installed in a granule-discharging machine for feeding granules of seeds, fertilizer, chemicals or the like to a field. SOLUTION: A passage 81 for detecting the granules is formed at a part of a granule-transporting passage for transporting the granules, and the granules passing the passage 81 are detected by a granule-detecting sensor 85. The granule-detecting sensor 85 is detachably attached to a member 80 constituting the granule-transporting passage, and the space surrounded by the sensor and the member is used as the passage 81 for detecting the granules.
