A method for dispensing cryogenic substances (C) comprising following steps: predisposing at least a pressurised container (2) predisposed to contain a cryogenic substance (C), the container (2) comprising a valve (3) active at the opening (2a) and regulating an emission of the cryogenic substance (C), predisposing a coupling element (4) stably constrained to the container (2), predisposing an activating element (5) engaged to the coupling element (4) in such a way that it is interposed between the container (2) and the activating element (5). The method further comprises: a dispensing step in which the activating element (5) is pressed nearingly to the container (2) so as to bring the valve (3) of the container (2) into a passage condition in which it enables exit of the cryogenic substance (C), a safety step, at least following a dispensing step, in which the activating element (5) is stably blocked to the coupling element (4), an intermediate step in which the activating element (5) is mobile relatively by rotation with respect to the blocking element (4) in order to allow passage from the dispensing step to the safety step and vice versa, an unblocking step comprising a step of elastic deformation of at least a part of the activating element (5) which enables passage between the safety step and the intermediate step.L'invention concerne un procédé de distribution de substances cryogéniques (C) comprenant les étapes suivantes : mise en place d'au moins un récipient sous pression (2) destiné à contenir une substance cryogénique (C), ledit récipient (2) comprenant une soupape (3) active à l'ouverture (2a) et régulant l'émission de la substance cryogénique (C) ; mise en place d'un élément de couplage (4) appliqué de manière stable au récipient (2) ; mise en place d'un élément d'activation (5) en contact avec l'élément de couplage (4) de telle sorte que ce dernier est interposé entre le récipient (2) et l'élément d'activation (5).
