PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of an electric vehicle configured to detect a step difference by using a means different from an ultrasonic sensor.SOLUTION: An electric wheel chair 1 has a drive system 20 including a first drive wheel 21, a drive system 20 including a second drive wheel 22, and an electronic controller 61. Each of the drive systems 20 has the first drive wheel 21 or the second drive wheel 22 and a motor 31 for driving the drive wheel.
