PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire having excellent flexibility at a distal end and excellent information transmission properties allowing an operator to appropriately acquire information obtained from the distal end.SOLUTION: A guide wire 1A includes: a twisted wire 10 at a distal end of a core shaft 2 a distal tip 5 fixed to the distal end of the twisted wire 10 and a first coil body 20 for covering the core shaft 2 and the twisted wire 10.
