The instrument has an instrument head (2) allowing an examination with the instrument and provided with a first face and a second face. An opening is arranged on the first face of the instrument head. A window (12) is arranged on the second face of the instrument head. A base surrounds the instrument head. The instrument head is extended by a narrower portion surrounding a connection between the head instrument and a handle of the instrument. The instrument head is extended from a head insertion opening. The instrument is provided with a sheath that is made of opaque material and tissue type of synthetic or natural fibers, or polymer impregnated fabric, nonwoven fabric, felt, plastic or silicone.L'invention concerne une housse de consultation pour instrument d'ophtalmologie.
