SOLUTION: A sounding mechanism 9 of a spinning reel includes a first member 21, a second member 22, a pin member 23, a coil spring 24, and a metal holding member 25. The first member 21 is configured to be integrally rotatable with the spool. The first member 21 has a plurality of uneven portions 21b arranged at intervals in the rotation direction of the spool. The second member 22 is configured such that it cannot rotate relative to the spool shaft. The pin member 23 is arranged so as to be able to come into contact with the uneven portion 21b. The coil spring 24 biases the pin member 23 toward the uneven portion 21b. The metal holding member 25 is attached to the second member 22 and holds the coil spring 24.
