PURPOSE: A container for collecting metal in a dental clinic and a method for collecting metal from patients are provided to collect metal like gold, silver, and platinum from the patients during a dental treatment. CONSTITUTION: A container for collecting metal in a dental clinic comprises a unit chair, a discharge pipe, and a suction motor. The inlet tube (110) of the container (100) for collecting metal connects to the discharge pipe. An outlet tube (120) connects to the suction pipe of the suction motor. The discharge pipe of the suction motor connects to a sewage disposal tank. When the suction motor operates, the fluids of a patient are collected in the sewage disposal tank through an exhaustion branch tube, the discharge pipe, the container for collecting metal, and the suction motor.본 발명은 치과 진료 중에 환자로부터 발생되는 금, 은, 백금 등과 같은 고가의 금속을 수거하기 위한 치과용 금속수거용기 및 치과 환자로부터 금속을 수거하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 상기 치과용 금속수거용기는, 상기 치과용 금속수거용기는 치과용 유니트체어와 연결된 배출관과 석션모터 사이에 설치되고, 상기 치과용 금속수거용기는, 수용 공간을 갖는 용기본체； 상기 용기본체와 일체로 형성되고 상기 배출관과 연결되는 유입관； 상기 용기본체와 일체로 형성되고 상기 석션모터의 흡입관과 연결되는 유출관； 상기 유입관의 전면에 위치되고 상기 용기본체의 바닥에서부터 상기 유입관의 상부로 연장되는 유동 차단부； 를 포함한다. 이러한 구성에 따르면, 환자가 치료를 받는 유니트체어와 연결된 배출관과 석션모터의 사이에 금속수거용기를 배치하고 석션모터로부터 흡입된 환자의 타액 등에 포함된 금가루가 금속수거용기 내에 침전되도록 함으로써 치과 진료 중에 환자로부터 발생되는 금, 은, 백금 등과 같은 금속을 수거할 수 있어 자원 재활용에 기여할 수 있는 치과용 금속수거용기 및 치과 환자로부터 금속을 수거하는 방법을 제공할 수 있다.
