PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preferable eye image by reducing displacement in the image in a reciprocating scanning.SOLUTION: The ophthalmic photographing apparatus includes: an imaging optical system including an optical scanning means for scanning on a subjects eye, using at least part of light emitted from a light source as measurement light, and a light receiving means for receiving the light including reflected light thereof, and capturing an eye image of a prescribed part of the subjects eye a control means for controlling the drive of the optical scanning means, reciprocatingly scanning the measurement light on the subjects eye in a prescribed direction, acquiring a light receiving signal corresponding to the prescribed scanning area from an output signal output from the light receiving means during the reciprocating scanning, and forming the eye image and a storage means for storing signal acquiring conditions of the light receiving signal in view of a temporal displacement between outward scanning and homeward scanning when the light receiving signal is output from the light receiving means. The control means acquires the light receiving signal corresponding to the prescribed scanning area using the signal acquiring conditions stored by the storage means and forms the eye image.
