The purpose of this study is to elucidate the physiological importance of glycosaminoglycans such as heparin and heparan sulfate, and to provide new uses for these molecules. A physiologically active inhibitor for heparin-binding protein, comprising a sulfated sugar chain as an active ingredient is provided. The physiologically active inhibitor of the present invention is used as, for example, an anti-angiogenic agent.ヘパリンやヘパラン硫酸などのグリコサミノグリカンの生理学的重要性を解明し、これらの分子の新たな用途を提供することを課題とする。硫酸化糖鎖を有効成分とした、ヘパリン結合性蛋白に対する生理活性阻害剤が提供される。本発明の生理活性阻害剤は例えば抗血管新生剤として利用される。
