PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce heavy labor of the heart massage, and to prevent the shift of location of pressing the sternums if vibration is applied during the transfer.SOLUTION: The heart massage device comprises a presser unit 2 for pressing the sternums, and a frame 3 for supporting the presser unit. The heart massage device has a back panel 1 to be laid under the back of a patient, and restraining belts 5 for fastening the patient are attached to the left and right sides of the back panel. The frame is formed in the inverted L-shape consisting of a support 13 erected from either left or right side of the back panel and an arm 11 extended from the upper part of the support in the opposite direction to the right or left side of the back panel. The presser unit 2 is moved along the direction of extension of the arm. In the presser unit, a gear 33 and a presser slider 36 are engaged with each other inside a gear box 28, and the oscillation of a control lever 35 outside the gear box is converted to the lifting motion at the tip of the presser slider.
