A method and device for analyzing and treating tonal imperfections on human skin. The method has the steps of taking at least one background image of at least 10µm2 of skin and calculating the average background L value of the image on a grey scale. One or more treatment images of the skin are taken and at least one localized L value of individual pixels or group of pixels is calculated within the treatment image. The local L value is compared to the background L value. Skin deviations are areas of skin where the absolute value of the difference between a local L and the background L is greater than a predetermined ΔLS. Skin deviations are identified by this method and then treated with a treatment composition.La présente invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif permettant danalyser et de traiter des imperfections tonales sur la peau humaine. Ledit procédé comprend les étapes consistant à prendre au moins une image darrière-plan dau moins 10µm2 de la peau et à calculer la valeur L darrière-plan moyenne de limage sur une échelle de gris. Une ou plusieurs images de traitement de la peau sont prises et au moins une valeur L localisée de pixels individuels ou dun groupe de pixels est calculée à lintérieur de limage de traitement. La valeur L locale est comparée à la valeur L darrière-plan. Les écarts cutanés sont des zones de la peau pour lesquelles la valeur absolue de la différence entre une valeur locale L et la valeur L darrière-plan est supérieure à un ΔLS. Des écarts cutanés sont identifiés par ce procédé puis traités avec une composition de traitement.
