The present invention relates to a health food composition for preventing and alleviating obesity, containing a solid-state fermented coffee hot water extract fermented by using Monascus rubber as an active ingredient. According to various embodiments of the present invention, it is confirmed that the solid-state fermented coffee hot water extract of the present invention has advantages of decreasing the weight of a rat, which is fed with high fat diet including the solid-state fermented coffee hot water extract fermented by using Monascus rubber, and the weight of liver and adipose tissue of the rat, and of improving lipid metabolism of plasma and liver.
