PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back sheet for sanitary material excellent in mechanical strength, moisture permeability, feeling and leakage prevention property.SOLUTION: There is provided a polyurethane film for sanitary material containing a polyurethane resin for polyurethane film for sanitary material (U), which is a polyurethane resin containing polymer diol having a polyoxyethylene chain (A), diisocyanate (B) and at least one chain extension agent (C) selected from a group consisting of ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, 1,4-butanediol and thiodiethylene glycol and satisfies following conditions. (1) (U) has no polyoxytetramethylene group represented by the following formula (1). -(OCH2CH2CH2CH2)n- (1). where n is an integer of 2 or more. (2) thermal softening temperature of a dried film of (U) is 200 to 250°C. (3) urethane group content of (U) is 12 to 18 wt.%.
