PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants type disposable diaper which achieves both improved fit of three-dimensional gathers and prevention of the collapse of the three-dimensional gathers on both sides of a gluteal cleft and is a type of an exterior body divided into two.SOLUTION: Three-dimensional gathers 60 include: a body part 66 having a base side part 60B extending from both side parts of a surface of an interior body to a central side in a width direction and a tip end side part 60A extending from a tip end of the base side part to the outside in the width direction a lying part 67 which is fixed on the surface of the interior body while both end parts in a front-back direction in the body part are in a lying state a free part 68 which is positioned between the front and back lying parts and is not fixed a gathers elastic member 63 provided in the front-back direction LD at least in a tip end part of the free part and a back side half-lying part 68B in which a tip end side part in the lying state is joined to the base side part by continuing or being adjacent to the front side of the lying part on the back side, and the base side part and a top sheet 30 are not joined.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
