PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find a substance having excellent epidermal keratinocyte proliferation promoting action or ATP production promoting action, and to provide an epidermal keratinocyte proliferation promoter or an ATP production promoter having the substance as an active ingredient, and a skin cosmetic blended with the substance.SOLUTION: As an active ingredient of an epidermal keratinocyte proliferation promoter or an ATP production promoter of the present invention, tranexamic acid or at least one type selected from its derivatives is contained.
