PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape variable mat which fits to a body shape of a user, can form a holding face by which the user feels a favorable use feeling, and is easy in maintenance at a long time use.SOLUTION: A shape variable mat comprises a mat main body 14 which receives a load of a user M on an upper face 14a. The mat main body 14 is formed by filling a mixture 22 added with liquid in a granular body into a bag body 20. The shape variable mat comprises a support body 18 for supporting the mat main body 14, and an exciter 16 for vibrating the mixture 22 in the mat main body 14. The mixture 22 in the mat main body 14 is transited to a fluidized state from a solid state by the excitation of the exciter 16. A convex concave face 26 having a large number of protrusions 26a is formed in at least one region being an inside side face of the mat main body 14 out of two regions which vertically oppose each other in a state of being accommodated in an accommodation part 18a of the support body 18.
