PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needleless injection device that can be easily and comfortably handled.SOLUTION: An injection device 10 comprises a fluid applicator 11 that is fed by a fluid delivery arrangement 12, and the fluid delivery arrangement contains an energy storage 29. The latter is configured as a pressure vessel 36. Gas pressure derived therefrom acts, either directly or indirectly, on a container that has been prefilled with injection fluid. The fluid to be ejected is thus subject to constant pressure. With the use of a valve 23, a user can initiate the ejection of the desired amount of fluid with constant intensity. A check valve 23 may also be a regulating valve which can be used by the user to vary the intensity of the effect. The user need only release the system, e.g., by puncturing the pressure vessel 36.
