Rotating intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) imaging system, systems and methods are provided. Some embodiments of the present disclosure, particularly, to a compact and efficient circuit architecture and electrical interface for the polymer piezoelectric material small ultrasonic transducers for use in rotary IVUS system (PMUT). In one embodiment, the rotary intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) devices, flexible elongated member flexible elongated piezoelectric micro ultrasonic transducer coupled to the distal portion of the member (PMUT) and a distal flexible elongated member application specific integrated circuit coupled to a part including (ASIC).
