PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which suppresses displacement of an absorbent pad and allows the absorbent pad to be disposed easily.SOLUTION: A diaper 1 comprises an abdominal side exterior member 2, a back side exterior member 3, and an absorbent body 4. The back side exterior member 3 comprises a skin side member 3a located in front of the absorbent body 4 and a non-skin side member 3b located behind the absorbent body 4. A urine-taking pad 5 can be disposed between the skin side member 3a and the absorbent body 4. A first rubber thread 31 is joined to the non-skin side member 3b in a stretched state over a width direction at a position overlapping with the absorbent body 4, the skin side member 3a, and the urine-taking pad 5 in a longitudinal direction when disposing the urine-taking pad 5. A second rubber thread 32 is joined to the non-skin side member in a stretched state over the width direction at a position below the first rubber thread 31, overlapping with the absorbent body 4 and the urine-taking pad 5 in the longitudinal direction, and not overlapping with the skin side member 3a in the longitudinal direction.
