This invention provides an adhesive strip with non-adhesive band and a method using the same. The adhesive strip with non-adhesive band comprises a strip body and a non-adhesive band. The strip body has a first surface being adhesive and a second surface. The non-adhesive band is disposed on the first surface to divide the strip body into an upper adhesive part and a lower adhesive part. The non-adhesive band has an outer contour conforming to a contour of the strip body. The non-adhesive band has a height larger than a combined thickness of a users lips in a closed condition. When the adhesive strip with non-adhesive band is applied unto the users mouth, the non-adhesive band covers a partial area of the users mouth and the upper adhesive part being attached unto skins above the upper lip and the lower adhesive part being attached unto skins below the lower lip. Both of the upper and lower adhesive parts are not adhered to the users lips.
