The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition. More specifically, the present invention relates to a functional cosmetic composition for wrinkle amelioration and whitening, containing mucus derived from abalone as an active ingredient. According to the present invention, the mucus derived from abalone exhibits wrinkle ameliorating effects due to inhibitory activity on both hyaluronate lyase and elastase as well as skin whitening effects owing to tyrosinase inhibiting activity.
