Grooves (10) having unique size numbers are disposed at identical preset distances on the inner side of the belt body (1) each groove (10) is internally provided with an electrode (101) of a different electrical resistance the electrodes (101) in the grooves (10) are connected in series by means of a lead embedded in the belt body (1). The inner side of the belt buckle (3) is provided with a voltage sensor (30). The belt head (2) comprises a microcontroller (20) and a pedometer (22). When the belt buckle (3) catches one of the grooves (10), the voltage sensor (30) measures a voltage signal outputted by the electrode (101) in the groove (10). According to the voltage signal outputted by the electrode (101), the microcontroller (20) identifies the size number of the groove (10) corresponding to the electrode (101) and obtains waist circumference data of the user according to the size number of the groove (10). The pedometer (22) counts the steps taken by the user during exercise.
