Present invention relates to a conditioning composition for keratin fibres especially human hair in an aerosol foam form. The inventors of the present application have surprisingly found out that a conditioning composition for keratin fibres especially hair comprises at least one fatty alcohol and at least one cationic surfactant wherein fatty alcohol and cationic surfactant has the same number of C atoms in their alkyl chains which is packed into an aerosol can together with a propellant and delivered in the form of a compact and viscous foam liquidifies when worked into hair by hands. The object of the present invention is a conditioning composition for keratin fibres, especially hair, comprising at least one fatty alcohol, at least one cationic surfactant, and at least one propellant wherein fatty alcohol and cationic surfactant has the same number of C atoms in their alkyl chain.Preferred is a combination of behenyl alcohol and behentrimonium chloride.
