PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for testing skin aging in a human, especially the skin aging utilizing a gene to be a skin aging marker corresponding to photo-aging (ultraviolet exposure).
SOLUTION: The method for testing the skin aging is carried out as follows. One or two or more of 25 human skin aging marker genes in a plurality of genes specified from GenBank Accession Numbers and increasing the expression according to the skin aging and a plurality of similarly identified specific genes reducing the expression according to the skin aging are used.
