PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope and an endoscope assembling method capable of fixing a tip part of an insertion member to a tip part body without increasing the diameter of an insertion part.SOLUTION: The circumferential position of a protrusion 96A of a light guide member 78 is matched with the position of a second groove part 112A of a pressing member 58, and a tip part 78A of the light guide member 78 is inserted into a through-hole 112. Then, the light guide member 78 is rotated so that the circumferential position of the protrusion 96A of the light guide member 78 is matched with the position of a first groove part 70A of an attaching hole 70, and the tip part 78A of the light guide member 78 is attached to the attaching hole 70 of a tip part body 48. Then, a screw member 106 is inserted into a through-hole 104 of the pressing member 58, and screwed into a screw hole 102 of the tip part body 48.
