PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beauty appliance that stably exhibits a far infrared ray effect over a long period of time.SOLUTION: A beauty appliance 1 comprises a handle 20, a supporting shaft 50 protruding from the handle 20, and a rotating body 10 that is a carbon molded body. A depression 110 into which the supporting shaft 50 is inserted is formed in the rotating body 10. Because no through hole is formed in the rotating body and there is no opening near a skin contact part, a foreign body hardly enters an inner part.
