PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling noxious insects, capable of maintaining insecticidal effects for a long time in spite of shortening its heating time.SOLUTION: This device for controlling the noxious insects and heating and volatilizing a treating chemical containing an insecticidal component into air by using a hating element is characterized by heating to elevate the surface temperature of the heating element at 70 to 150°C to heat and transpire the treating chemical containing 1 kind or &ge2 kinds of compounds selected from pyrethroid compounds having 2×10-4 to 1×10-2 mmHg vapor pressure at 30°C as the insecticidal component in a short time, and making &le1 &mum particle diameter of the treating chemical containing the insecticidal component volatilized in the air to keep an atmosphere capable of controlling the noxious insects for the period of time which is &ge2 times the heating for transpiring time.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】加熱時間を短縮しても殺虫効果が長時間持続し得る害虫防除装置が望まれていた。【解決手段】本発明に係る害虫防除装置は、殺虫成分を含有する処理薬剤を、発熱体を用いて加熱することによって空中に揮散する害虫防除装置において、殺虫成分として30℃における蒸気圧が2×10-4~1×10-2mmHgであるピレスロイド化合物から選ばれた1種又は2種以上の化合物を含有する処理薬剤を、発熱体の表面温度を70~150℃に加熱して、短時間で加熱蒸散させて、空中に揮散する殺虫成分を含有する前記処理薬剤の粒子径を1μm以下とし、加熱蒸散時間の2倍以上の時間を害虫防除可能な雰囲気とすることを特徴とする。【選択図】なし
