PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield for a face guard in which deposition of fingerprints when being attached is prevented, and scratches and dust are prevented from occurring prior to use, and thereby a clean visual field can be obtained, and provide the face guard to which the shield for the face guard is mounted.SOLUTION: A shield 100 for a face guard is attached to the face guard and protects wearer's eyes. The shield includes: a shield body 110 comprising a clear plastic film, and being formed of engagement holes 111, 112, 113, 114, 115 engaged with a frame unit of the face guard； and a protective cover 120 for covering a surface and a back side of a lower end side of the shield body 110 so that the engagement holes 111, 112, 113, 114, 115 may be exposed.
