FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to preventive and restorative medicine, and can be used if it is necessary to increase adaptability of the human body to the effects of physical loads and unfavorable environmental factors. That is ensured by a course of interval normobaric hypoxic-hyperoxic trainings (IHHT), the sessions of which consist of alternating phases of breathing with hypoxic and hyperoxic gas mixtures combined with physical loads and additional sessions of respiration with oxygen hyperoxic mixtures (RHM) with inert gases. IHHT sessions are carried out using preheated heated to temperature of 50 °C, measured in the cavity of the face mask, respiratory mixtures. Respiratory mixtures used are hypoxic, consisting of oxygen 8 vol%, CO2 not more than 5 vol%, inert gases – balance, and hyperoxic gases containing not less than 25 vol%. oxygen, inert gases – balance. Respiratory phases of hypoxic and hyperoxic mixtures are alternated by a biological feedback signal on SpO2 and heart rate (HR). Duration of IHHT course is not less than four weeks with frequency of one session of IHHT lasting 30 minutes a day, during which additionally performed is not less than three physical activities and two additional sessions of respiration with heated hyperoxic mixtures (RHM) of oxygen with inert gases identical to hyperoxic mixtures, used in IHHT. Preliminary by means of multistage bicycle ergometric test initial indices of body physical performance (PP) – PWC170, maximum oxygen consumption VO2max, rate of growth of oxygen consumption value ΔVO2, anaerobic threshold AT, which are taken as basic ones.
