The present invention relates to an apparatus for sensing coin type batteries of a portable medical device. In a portable medical device which uses a plurality of coin type batteries, it is possible to sense whether or not all of the plurality of coin type batteries are correctly mounted, and to accurately measure biological values such as blood sugar, etc. by operating only in the case that all of the plurality of coin type batteries are correctly mounted.
