A tooth brush sterilising kit comprises a body 1 including a reservoir 5 and pump 4； support areas 7 are provided for tubes 3 to contain toothbrushes 8； the reservoir prevents anything entering it and a toothbrush 8 may be sterilised whilst it is within tube 3 by pushing the tube 3 onto pump 4 and sterilising liquid flowing to jet nozzles 6 within tube 3. The tubes or pods are preferably comprised of two halves having an air tight friction fit.
