Crystals of pembrolizumab and structurally similar anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibodies, and methods of making such crystals, and the use of compositions containing such antibody crystals, for example, in the treatment of cancer are provided. The present invention more than meets these requirements by providing pembrolizumab crystals and methods for producing pembrolizumab crystals. One embodiment of the production method of the present invention produces crystals suitable for X-ray diffraction, and we use such crystals in the present invention to make the three-dimensional structure of pembrolizumab 2.3.
