PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container used for cultivation and concurrently for transportation of potted plants, capable of cultivating without giving water for a long period in the case of cultivating potted plants by utilizing a string water supply, without requiring to prepare a transporting container such as a corrugated box, separately on transportation, and also without requiring the preparation of a stand for decoration. SOLUTION: This container used for the cultivation and concurrently for transportation of potted plants consists of a nutrition liquid vessel 1, a lid 2 freely detachably/attachably covering it and a maintaining member 3 arranged in the nutritious liquid vessel 1. The lid 2 has a loading part 7 for loading the potted plant 4, and a hole for passing a water-sucking string 15 for the string water supply is formed at the center of the loading part 7, The maintaining member 3 is freely attachable and detachable, and at its center, a hole 9 is formed for maintaining the potted plant 4 in transporting it.
