PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking aid apparatus configured to be readily used and capable of satisfactorily assisting a users walking operation.SOLUTION: The walking aid apparatus includes: an apparatus body 4 moving on an installation surface 22 a motor 6 supported by the apparatus body 4 and a pedal 12a (12b) on which a left foot 40a (a right foot 40b) of a user 20 is placed and the pedal 12a (12b) that is supported by the apparatus body 4 and is driven to repeat an operation cycle including a first operation period and a second operation period, by the motor 6.
