PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mower which can efficiently use an output of a power source (an engine) while achieving an efficient cutting effect of a cord-like cutting member, and can prevent scattering of the cut weed.SOLUTION: A mower B includes a rotational blade installation shaft 14 provided at an appropriate position of a body 100, and a rotational blade A that is installed to and rotates about the rotational blade installation shaft 14. The rotational blade A includes a holding member 200 that is installed to and rotates about the rotational blade installation shaft 14, and a cord-like cutting member 4 with one base end side thereof being held by the holding member 200 while the other tip end side thereof extending in a radially outward direction of the holding member.
