The humidification chamber comprises a water tub 452 that is configured to receive a volume of water. A lid 456 is hingedly coupled to the water tub for enclosing the volume contained in the water tub. The lid and the water tub are formed of a rigid plastic by injection molding, vacuum forming, or some other suitable production process.
