A ventilation conduit for a ventilation system for the delivery of air includes an outer electrode and in inner electrode. The outer electrode is formed as a wall body of the ventilation conduit. The inner electrode is configured to be arranged in an interior space of the ventilation conduit that is enclosed by the outer electrode. Applying an electric voltage between the inner electrode and the outer electrode allows a gas discharge to be brought about to generate a plasma for cleaning the ventilation conduit in an installed state.
