PURPOSE: An organic waste processing unit and a method are provided to reduce cost and time for processing the organic waste and to enable environmental processing without generating effluent or bad smell. CONSTITUTION: An organic waste processing unit and a method comprises a reaction container(10) which can be sealed, a stirrer, and a liquid fertilizer making apparatus(60). The reaction container comprises an inlet(14) which organic waste and reaction additive are put into, an outlet(15) in which processed material is exhausted, and a gas outlet(16) which reaction gas is exhausted. The mixer mixes contents of the reaction container. The liquefied fertilizer manufactures liquid manure by condensing reaction gas to coolant and gradually increases concentration of the coolant.본 발명은 처리에 따른 비용과 시간을 줄일 수 있고, 악취나 폐수의 발생 없이 친환경적인 처리가 가능하며, 그 결과로 고품질의 유기질 퇴비와 고농도 액체비료를 제조할 수 있는 유기성 폐기물 처리장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 개시한 유기성 폐기물 처리장치는 유기성 폐기물과 반응첨가물이 투입되는 투입구, 처리물이 배출되는 배출구, 반응가스가 배출되는 가스배출구를 구비하며 밀봉이 가능한 반응용기와； 반응용기의 내용물을 교반시키는 교반기와； 가스배출구로부터 배출되는 반응가스를 냉각액으로 응축시켜 냉각액의 비료성분 농도를 점차 높이는 방식으로 액체비료를 만드는 액비제조기를 포함한다.
