PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which exhibits a great comfort by suppressing evaporation of urine causing stuffiness or skin problems.

SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 is provided with a front sheet 2 which forms a skin abutting surface, a rear sheet 3 which forms a skin non-abutting surface and an absorbent body 4 which is interposed between the two sheets 2 and 3. A coolant 5 which dissolves in urine excreted by a wearer and absorbs heat is arranged between the front sheet 2 and the rear sheet 3. Also, the front sheet 2 is formed of high-bulk nonwoven fabric which has a thickness of 0.3 mm or more when a load of 3.5 kPa is applied and a basis weight of 50 g/m2or less.
