To provide a housing container usable for a separation device that can separate individual seedling pots from a seedling pot connected body by a simple operation.SOLUTION: A housing container 2 comprises a bottom wall 22 and partition walls 23. A space surrounded by the bottom wall 22 and the partition wall 23 is a housing space for housing seedling pots 100A. The partition walls 23 are equipped with arrangement parts 231 for which connection parts 103 of a seedling pot connected body 100 are arranged. The connection parts 103 are arranged on a top edge faces 231a of the arrangement parts 231. Cutouts 24 are severally formed on the partition walls 23 on both sides of the arrangement part 231.
