Il est composé d'un support(1), d'un anneau en céramique(2) et d'un lien(3) servant à ligaturer l'ensemble sur le blank(4). Le contact direct entre l'anneau céramique et le blank, ainsi que le gain de poids dû aux matériaux employés, permet d'obtenir des cannes qui conservent une excellente sensibilité. Le dispositif est particulièrement bien adapté aux cannes destinées aux pêches tactiles.
