The present invention relates to a medium composition for induced differentiation of induced pluripotency stem cells containing Ecklonia cava extract. The present invention also relates to a method for producing induced pluripotent stem cells using the medium composition. When the medium composition according to the present invention is used, induced pluripotent stem cells can be efficiently produced safely and easily using mesenchymal stem cells. Since differentiation into cells is possible, it can be usefully used as a cell therapeutic agent.
