PHARMACEUTICAL FORMULATIONS AND COMPOSITIONS OF A SELECTIVE ANTAGONIST OF EITHER CXCR2 OR BOTH CXCR1 AND CXCR2 AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME FOR TREATING INFLAMMATORY DISORDERS
Disclosed is a composition comprising 2-hydroxy-N,N-dimethyl-3-[[2-[[1-(R)-5-methyl-2-furanyl)propyl]amino]-3,4-dioxo-1-cyclobuten-1-yl]amino]benzamide (Compound I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable excipient comprising of one or more wetting agent(s), which is sodium lauryl sulfate present in a range of 0.1 percent to 5 percent (w/w), one or more binder(s), which is povidone present in a ratio of povidone to Compound I of between 0.18:1 to 1.8:1, one or more diluent(s), and one or more disintegrant(s), which is crospovidone present at 2 percent to 30 percent (w/w)； and wherein the composition is a capsule for treating an inflammatory disorder selected from acute inflammatory pain, arthritis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), psoriasis, and asthma.
