PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gray hair or vitiligo model non-human animal, a method for producing the model animal, and a method for evaluating a test drug using the model animal. A non-human animal with a gray hair or vitiligo model is provided. The model animal of the present invention can be obtained by shaving a laboratory animal that is easy to procure and breed and applying a rhododendrol-containing solution to the site. In addition, the model animal of the present invention can be used to elucidate the mechanism of white hair or vitiligo development, to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a white hair or vitiligo improving drug, or to perform screening.
