<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing hyaluronic acid efficiently. <；P>；SOLUTION: The method for producing hyaluronic acid comprises: constructing an expression vector which includes a DNA encoding a protein having the hyaluronic acid synthesis activity under the control of a promoter and a transcription termination region functional in plant and a DNA encoding a protein having the glutamine-fructose-6-phosphate amidotransferase activity under the control of a promoter and a transcription termination region functional in plant and/or a DNA encoding a protein having the UDP-glucose dehydrogenase activity under the control of a promoter and a transcription termination region functional in plant； obtaining a transformant by transforming plant cells or plants using the vector； and culturing the transformant； and the process of separating hyaluronic acid produced by the transformant. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
