PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dilator allowing selection of a use form, having excellent cleanability and allowing low-cost production.SOLUTION: This dilator 1 includes: a cylindrical dilator body 10 penetrated in the long direction by a guide lumen 13 for passing a guide wire, having a tip part 11 formed in a tapered taper shape, and having a rear end part having a detachable stopper 12 a cylindrical sheath 20 capable of fitting on the dilator body 10, having the full length shorter than the dilator body 10, and having a tip part 21 formed in a tapered taper shape and a cylindrical adapter 30 capable of fitting on the dilator body 10 between the sheath 20 and the stopper 12, continued to the rear end of the sheath 20.
